At It Factor Dance Academy, we believe in providing high-quality dance education in a positive, structured, and inspiring environment. To ensure that every student receives the best possible experience, we have established clear tuition rates and studio policies that support consistency, accountability, and growth. Whether your dancer is just starting out or pursuing a competitive path, our policies are designed to keep families informed and our studio running smoothly. Please review the details below to understand tuition schedules, payment expectations, and important studio guidelines.

POLICIES
💳 Tuition & Payments
Tuition is billed on a monthly basis. Monthly tuition is determined from an average of entire classes from September - May. Tuition is automatically deducted from your account the 1st of each month. A $25 late fee is applied to any account not paid by the 10th. We offer:

Monthly tuition cap of $250 per dancer
Tuition is non-refundable for partial months, missed classes, or withdrawal after the first of the month.
Merchandise is non-refundable.
📅 Attendance & Make-Up Classes
If a dancer misses class, they may attend another class in the same age group for a make-up session. We do not offer make-up days for weather-related closures. Monday classes canceled due to holidays will be made up.
To report an absence, please email us at least 1 hour before class begins.
🔁 Withdrawals & Refunds
To withdraw from classes, families must submit a written email or letter. Withdrawals cannot occur after April 1st. Any tuition for a month after it has started will still be charged regardless of when the notice is given.
Registration, costume, and recital fees are non-refundable.
👕 Dress Code

All classes that include ballet (including BTJ combo and 2–4 year old tap & ballet) require leotards and tights (any color).

For other classes, dancers may wear any fitted dancewear that allows instructors to see body alignment for safety.

Hip hop students may wear clean sneakers.

Students may wear ballet shoes (with no laces) for ballet classes.

Tap students must wear tap shoes.

Other genres may be danced in jazz shoes, turning shoes, bare feet, or socks, based on instructor preference

No gum in studio classrooms.

Hair must be pulled back for all classes.
💬 Studio Etiquette

Students must show respect to instructors, peers, and families.

No phones, food, or drinks (other than water) are allowed inside the studio classroom.

Dancers may only enter the classroom when the instructor invites them in.

Parents may watch classes via the TV in the lobby using our in-studio camera system.

Parents are not permitted inside the dance room unless invited by a teacher or owner.

All families must treat each other with kindness and respect.
We reserved the right to dismiss any dancers.
📣Communication
We communicate mainly through email, but important updates and reminders are also posted on our social media pages. Families should check weekly to stay informed about classes, events, and cancellations.
🎭 Performances & Fees
All dancers participate in an end-of-year recital to showcase their progress and talent. Families are also invited into the studio for special Halloween and Christmas performances, where they may view and record the routines.

We follow the Tyler ISD school schedule for holidays and weather-related closures. Notifications will be sent via email and posted on social media.
